Category C + CE

HGV license lessons Newtownards Bangor Belfast lorry driving lessons articulated lorry hgv driving

Category C is a licence to drive all lorries over a MAM of 3500kgs, towing a trailer of no more than 750kg.

Category CE allows a trailer over 750kg.

The Category C test must be passed first. 


While there are no legal requirement to hold any qualifications in order to charge payment to teach either category C or D in N Ireland TC 4 HGV will only use Qualified and Approved Driving Instructors that are registered and licensed. When choosing an instructor please ask to see their qualifications.
